I-9 Verification

The federal government requires all employers to verify their employees' identity and eligibility to work in the United States, by having newly hired employees complete USCIS Form I-9.  With the growing prevalence of remote working, employers are often in a different city, or even a different state, from the employees they hire.  Often, employers choose to work with a local Notary Public to help complete the I-9 form at a location convenient to the employee.
